It's beginning. The color is starting to peek out from the green.
It seems to be coming early according to the locals. I definitely hope to be somewhere north of the notches and around the White Mountains during peak.

Went shooting with Eli yesterday. I don't think she liked it. Too much *BOOM*. Especially from the 500 Magnum. Holy crap that thing had some serious "goin' off" going on.
I fired the following:
Walther P22 .22 Auto
Dan Wesson 44 Magnum Revolver
SIG P220 .45 Auto
Ruger GP100 38 Special/.357 Revolver
Rock Island Armory 1911 .45 auto
Springfield Armory 1911 .45 auto
H&K USP Compact .45 auto
Not as horrible as I thought it might be. The 44 Magnum had me nervous at first. Good thing they weren't full loads. I wanted to test fire some 9mm but they couldn't find the magazines for the Kahr MK9 which I REALLY wanted to try. Ahh well, next time.
