That government is best which governs least.
Silly bureaucrats, trix are for kids
I registered to vote as "undeclared" in NH today.
That means I can change my party declaration on the way in to the primaries, and change it back by filling out another form on the way out :)
I ended up blacking out a whole section of the registration form that said:
In declaring New Hampshire as my domicile, I am subject to the laws of the State of New Hampshire which apply to all residents, including laws requiring me to register my motor vehicles and apply for a New Hampshire driver’s license within 60 days of becoming a resident.
This is pursuant to HB133 being passed in April. I only wish I would have read up on it more and realized I could have marked out the entire section around it as well. I will probably have to go back and sign a new one because of the added matter:
I understand that I can claim only one city/town as my domicile at a time. A domicile is that place, more than any other, where I sleep most nights of the year, or to which I intend to return after a temporary absence. By registering or voting today, I acknowledge that I am not registering to vote or voting in any other city/town.
I am happy I am no longer required to read the entire NH legal code in order to understand all the laws in New Hampshire in order to follow them. ;)
