Immigrants used to come to America seeking freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom from government. Now they come looking for free health care, free education, and a free lunch.

I left early this morning for a drive.
It ended up being a lot longer than I planned.
I was just a few miles from the Maine border as I drove up to Conway.

I stopped to look for the Eastman-Lord House Museum but it was closed. Lots of Eastman family history in Conway. I'll need to go back for a couple days and check things out.
I went west through the White Mountains on the Kancamagus Scenic Byway from Conway to Lincoln. After Lincoln, I got a tad lost :-\ and wound up in Bath, NH 30 miles North of where I wanted to end be.
I headed to the Vermont border and followed hwy 10 south to Hanover, NH, home of Ivy League Dartmouth College.
I then took hwy 12 south to Keene and then 101 home to Peterborough.
A nice long trip around the state.
Time: 8 hours
Lots of photos
